Blues University® has announced the date of the Spring 2008 Chicago Blues Tour™. The tour connects 6 of Chicago’s famous lounges featuring 6 live blues bands all night long, on Saturday, May 17th. Tickets are $35, with advance and group discounts available via the blues tour website, www.chicagobluestour.com. Shuttle buses run between the participating venues, which feature Chicago’s most famous musical export, the blues. Tickets are available through this website — (click this link to purchase tickets now). Maps, schedules, and the answers to Frequently Asked Questions are also updated as information is received. Tourgoers are advised to read the Frequently Asked Questions list, as well as to click this link to sign up for the email list in order to receive tour updates and instructions. The “hubs” of the tour will be House of Blues, 329 N. Dearborn in Chicago’s North Loop, and Wabash Tap, 1233 S. Wabash, in Chicago’s South Loop.

Tour tickets will be available at the House of Blues box office (cash only), and by phone via TicketWeb (credit cards accepted, service charges added).
Please arrive 45 minutes before the departure time for which you choose tickets. Due to capacity limitations during the initial boarding period, please help us handle crowd control by not arriving any earlier than 45 minutes before your departure time. We will do check-in in the order of bus boarding, so there is no advantage to arriving earlier.
To purchase tickets via phone, using Ticketweb, call toll-free 866-468-3401, and ask for the “Spring 2008 Chicago Blues Tour”. Tickets purchased by May 7 will be sent by mail, all Ticketweb purchases after that date will be considered “will-call” tickets. Ticketweb tickets purchased by phone are ‘general admission’ tickets (departure time is noted at the time of purchase, either 8:00 or 8:30 PM from House of Blues) and have a check-in time of 7:15 PM for the 8:00 departure and 7:45 for the 8:30 departure. Please do not arrive earlier than 7:15 PM if you purchase via phone, as capacity limitations require that we regulate admission times.
