Gwendolyn Williams, also known on the southside blues circuit as Mz. Peachez (not to be confused with the rapper by the same nickname), has made an impact as a singer with strong pipes and a lot of raw talent. While her repertoire relies heavily on Aretha Franklin and Tina Turner, her voice is powerful enough to pull those songs off and has a warm stage presence that has made her a popular guest at Lee’s Unleaded Blues. The gospel-based roots of her style are well-suited to high-energy soul, and she’s a crowd-pleaser whose vocal technique will only improve over time. She’s appearing here with another soul vocalist who could be her male alter-ego, Shorty Mack (not to be confused with the rapper of the same nickname). They are two of the popular soul vocal stylists on the tour, which also includes two other soul singers, Super Percy and Fantastic L-Roy. (9:00 PM to 1:30 AM)
